GameZone KYC: get verified without the reject loop
Na-reject ang KYC? Most rejections come down to blur, glare, cut-off corners, or a name that doesn’t match. Fix the reason the app names, upload once, then wait. Verification usually comes before your first cash-out, so do it while you’re not in a hurry.

Why KYC comes before your first cash-out
Identity checks confirm you are an adult of 21 or over, that the account is really yours, and that money goes back to the person who paid it in. Full verification before the first withdrawal is common across Philippine gaming apps. Borrowed IDs and accounts opened for someone else are not a workaround.
IDs that usually work
Help pages for Philippine gaming apps commonly list these. The accepted list inside your app wins if it differs.
- Philippine National ID (PhilSys)
- Passport
- Driver’s licence
- UMID
- PhilHealth ID
- TIN ID
- Voter’s ID
- ACR (for foreign residents)
Use the original card, unexpired, with the same name as your GameZone profile and your e-wallet. An expired ID often sits in Pending until it is rejected.
Shoot the ID properly
- Put the card on a dark, matte surface, out of any plastic sleeve.
- Use daylight from a window or bounce lamp light off a wall. Harsh point LEDs make hotspots on laminated IDs.
- Tilt the card slightly until the glare line leaves the text and photo.
- Fill the frame with all four corners visible, no fingers over the photo or ID number.
- Tap to focus and hold still. Turn off beauty filters and HDR.
- Use the plain camera through the app’s KYC screen. No screenshots of photos, no photocopies.
Selfie and liveness check
- Face a window or soft lamp. Avoid a bright window behind you.
- Remove cap, mask and glasses if they glare; keep forehead and chin clear.
- Stand against a plain wall, phone at eye level, whole face inside the guide frame.
- Clean the front camera lens.
- Follow blink or head-turn prompts slowly, in one take.
If your front camera is poor and rejects keep coming, log in on a phone with a better camera to finish the selfie (if the app allows), then log out of that phone.
Rejection reasons and the fix
| Reason shown | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Blurry / unreadable | Motion or focus | Steady hands, tap to focus, retake closer |
| Glare / reflection | Overhead light, laminated card | Indirect light, tilt the card |
| Cropped corners | Too close or auto-crop | Step back; show the full rectangle |
| Too dark | Low light | Daylight or a bright lamp, no filters |
| Expired ID | Validity date passed | Use another accepted, valid ID |
| Face not clear / liveness failed | Shadow, backlight, rushed motions | Re-shoot the selfie only, slowly |
| Face does not match ID | Old ID photo or wrong person | Use your own current ID |
| Name mismatch | Profile typed with a nickname or missing middle name | Fix the profile first (below); the photo is not the problem |
Fix only the piece that failed. If the ID was rejected, keep the selfie; if the selfie was rejected, keep the ID. Upload one clean set, screenshot the confirmation, and wait. Several uploads in ten minutes just stack review queues.
Pending for a long time
| Status | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Pending / Under review | Still in the queue | Wait; keep one clean set ready |
| Approved / Verified | Done | Stop re-uploading |
| Rejected / Resubmit | A reason is named | Fix that one reason |
| Blank after upload | Display not synced | Refresh once; confirm you are in the right account |
Use the in-app estimate if one is shown. Reviews can sit in the queue because something is missing, so re-read the verification screen. Reviewers commonly need:
- A clear photo of a valid ID with all four corners.
- A selfie that matches the ID photo.
- Profile name, birth date and address that match the ID.
- Sometimes proof that the e-wallet is yours.
When you contact support, ask one direct question: “Is anything missing from my verification?” While waiting, don’t open several withdrawals; they will only queue behind KYC. Never open a second account to “skip” KYC; that triggers duplicate flags.
Name mismatch: profile vs GCash, Maya or bank
| Field | Where to read it | Common mismatch |
|---|---|---|
| GameZone profile legal name | Profile or KYC panel | Nickname, missing middle name |
| GCash or Maya verified name | The e-wallet’s profile | Old surname after marriage |
| Bank account name | Bank app account details | Jr., Sr. or III left out |
- Use your government ID as the reference spelling.
- If the e-wallet is wrong, update it first through the wallet’s own verification process.
- If the GameZone profile is wrong, correct it through the official profile or KYC flow, or ask support which version they need.
- Wait one review window, then retry one cash-out on the same method you deposited with.
- A GCash deposit that “worked” with a near-match name can still fail at cash-out after KYC tightens.
- Fixing a Maya name won’t clear a GCash rejection, and the reverse. Keep each rail separate.
- If the names match and a cash-out still bounces, it may be the wallet’s receiving limit, not spelling.
- Recently married or changed your name? Update the e-wallet first, then ask GameZone support how to align the profile. Withdraw only after all three agree.
- A family member’s wallet is a hard stop, not a workaround.
Keep your documents safe
- Upload IDs and selfies only inside the official app or site.
- Never send them through Messenger, Telegram, email, a Google Form or a “verification agency”.
- Don’t post KYC images in group chats to ask for help.
- Delete extra copies from your gallery and cloud backup once you are verified.
What to send support
- Username and registered mobile.
- Screenshot of the status or rejection message, with the Philippine time.
- Which ID you used, and which field mismatches if it is a name issue.
- What you already fixed and when you resubmitted.
In-app chat only. Support may ask you to re-upload through the official KYC screen, never through chat. See customer service.
When to stop
- After two clean rejections, stop re-uploading and open one support ticket asking which item still fails.
- Anyone charges a fee to “unlock” or “speed up” KYC.
- Someone offers to verify with their ID or wallet.
- You are under 21.
